In their ongoing quest to become ninjas, the boys are participating in a martial arts class.

The other evening they tested for a new belt…the “bacon belt”. I suppose its called that because it is white with a red stripe down the middle. But, if you didn’t know that, you might think a bacon belt was something one might obtain as a result of eating too much pork. I’ll tell you there’s something new to learn at every turn.

They went through their routine with the rest of the class,

and demonstrated that they could escape several different holds. Then came the moment they had been waiting for. They got to take off their white belts,

and have their new belts tied on. So…now I present to you

the “Bacon Belt Boys”.
